about

Born in Belgium, I've been a squatter in the Lower East side in NYC, a street musician in New Orleans' French Quarter, a hobo in the Deep south, a housepainter in the Big Easy...Music is my lifeblood and so is art. Katrina scattered Neworleanians all over the map and me and my family were no exception. For two years I commuted between New Orleans, where I was working on my house, and Austin, where my wife and son were. Most of the songs on here were written in that period. I was gonna make a record about Katrina, a psychedelic flower power record, a 60's easy listening record, an old style country record...finally I just decided to gather all the best songs and put them on a CD.
I mix on a boombox and use headphones for a mike. I play guitar, mandolin, recorder, plastic toy xylophone, a tin popcorn can and a Casio keyboard bought at goodwill for $15.

I had a blast making this and I hope you have a blast listening to it!!
